Job Description
The Alameda County Library provides library services from ten libraries in the cities of Albany, Dublin, Fremont, Newark, and Union City and the unincorporated communities of Castro Valley and San Lorenzo. The Alameda County Library also provides additional services through Mobile and Outreach Services, Education and Literacy Services, and Social Justice Services.

Requirements

  • Possession of a master's degree in library science
  • Possession of a bachelor's degree and 18 months of full-time experience as a Library Technician or higher-level library classification in the Alameda County Library system
  • Possession of a bachelor's degree and 2 years of full-time experience in a library performing paraprofessional duties
