What You Will Do
Responsibilities include answering reference questions, providing reader's advisory services, and conducting training for the public in the use of computers and electronic resources. The Specialist will also assist with circulation, interlibrary loan requests, and marketing the collection and library services. Additionally, they will participate in professional development activities and maintain knowledge of the Dewey Decimal Classification system.

Requirements
- High school diploma required; two years of related experience preferred
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, computers, and basic technology troubleshooting
- Familiarity with library resources, reference services, and office equipment preferred
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask and work independently
- Professional, dependable, and able to maintain confidentiality
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and at multiple branch locations as needed
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds, move loaded book carts, and perform shelving and other physical library duties
- Reliable transportation required
