Role OverviewAvaMed Workforce is a Healthcare Staffing Agency that staffs all of California State Correctional Facilities. We are in urgent need of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to take on a Full-Time assignment at the correctional facility located in Delano, CA.
What You Will Do
Provide mental health services to mentally ill inmates/wards, conduct initial mental health evaluations, conduct clinically sound suicide risk evaluations, meet with mentally ill patient-inmates/youths for crisis intervention, group psychotherapy, and face-to-face interviews.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must be licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS), able to work in conditions that require all of the following essential functions, including being available for on-call during scheduled work days for patient emergencies.

- Monday-Thursday 7:00am-5:00pm
