Role OverviewThe Master Electrician provides electrician functions to maintain the integrity and operability of the buildings and grounds of UVA Health Northern VA Culpeper and other affiliated facilities.
What You Will Do
Operates, maintains, installs, and inspects all non-clinical electrical systems and equipment within the hospital plant. Performs preventative maintenance on emergency power generators and coordinates all repairs with assigned vendor.

Requirements
- High School Diploma required
- 2 Year/Associate's Degree in a technical science/trade or equivalent work experience preferred
- 3 years of apprenticeship in the electrical trade required
- 5 plus years of experience in commercial electrical distribution system installation and maintenance required
- Healthcare experience preferred
- Current Master Electrician's license required
- Significant and relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of licensure
- Current valid driver’s license in state of employment in good standing required with evidence of insurance in order to qualify for and maintain position
