Job Description
The Licensed Import/Export Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing import and export activities, providing expertise on trade compliance, and developing a trade compliance framework. The role requires strong knowledge of customs valuation, origin determination, and AD/CVD investigations. The manager will be responsible for ensuring company compliance with applicable customs and trade regulations, enforcing compliance, and developing policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Must pass any drug screens, background checks and any pre-employments tests as applicable.
  • Must have extensive knowledge in importing, exporting, and global trade compliance, including tariff classification, customs valuation, customs audits, and C-TPAT requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or A CHB licence plus 5 years’ experience.
  • Five years’ experience with importing parts and/or machines
  • Licensed Customs Broker
  • Knowledge and experience with Drawback and FTZ procedures
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Familiar with conducting regulatory audits
  • Experience working with U.S. Customs officials
  • Knowledge of international trade laws and regulations
