Role OverviewVanZandt Controls and Eagle Automation is seeking an experienced Licensed Journeyman Electrician to work in the fast-paced oil and gas market in the Permian Basin. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can adapt quickly across job functions and responsibilities, with a desire to learn and grow within the business.
What You Will Do
The successful candidate will be responsible for new electrical service installations, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and programming for projects including well-pad installations, compressor stations, salt-water disposals, and plants.

Requirements
- Texas Journeyman Electrical license (or any Journeyman license that will reciprocate in Texas)
- New electrical service installations up to 480/277 VAC
- Industrial Electrical Experience
- Ability to interpret Electrical Drawings and Process and Instrumentation Drawings (P&IDs)
- PLC Programming (a plus, but not required)
- Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes
- Solar Powered Systems
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components, using test equipment
- Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring
