Job Description
As a Licensed Journeyman Electrician, you will test, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, install and wire all electrical devices and circuits in the plant. You will also dismantle, repair and assess electrical motors, and install cable, conduit, fittings, fixtures, wiring and make connections for new or replacement facilities.

Requirements

  • Journeyman's License
  • 3-5 years' relevant experience in industrial electrical maintenance, preferably in the mining industry
  • Graduate of vocational school with emphasis on basic electricity and electronics -or- equipment training in military service schools
  • Minimum of four years of on-the-job training
  • Basic mechanical aptitude
  • High school graduate -or- equivalent
  • Good physical condition
