Role OverviewTaunton State Hospital is seeking Licensed Practical Nurse II candidates to provide nursing care to patients in an assigned area; administer treatment and medications; and perform related work as required.
What You Will Do
Provides direct care to patients in assigned area including activities of daily living, meal supervision, escorts responsibility for group activities as assigned, and orientation of patients to the ward.

Requirements
- Working knowledge of the theories, methods, procedures, and practices of nursing of patients.
- Working knowledge of the stablished nursing procedures for the administration of medications.
- Ability to understand written and oral instructions.
- Ability to work effectively with patients in a hospital.
- Ability to provide a leadership role.
- Working knowledge of DMH regulations and facility policies.
