Role OverviewPerform patient care in a clinic or hospital setting in a correctional institution. Administer medications, transcribe and carry out doctor's orders, assess patients utilizing protocols, triage, respond to emergencies. Assist in moving inmate patients. Assists with inventory and ordering of supplies and medications.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Nebraska or authority based on the Nurse Licensure Compact to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Nebraska
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with assistance
- Pass a background security check
- Pass a pre-employment medical examination and a drug test
