Role OverviewUnder direction, the purpose of the position is to provide medical care and services to students according to physician prescribed medical care and treatment orders. Employees in this classification are responsible for addressing medical emergencies, assessing circumstances and conditions, and resolving such according to established procedures and protocols.
What You Will Do
Provides medical care and services to students, prepares medications, monitors and provides assistance to students with diabetes, conducts screenings, performs gastrostomy tube feedings, and maintains accurate records of activities performed.

Must have a valid Florida state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and 2 years of previous nursing experience, preferably in a childcare or school environment.
Requirements
- Vocational/technical certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Continued employment contingent on satisfaction of (24) required continuing education credits every two years
- 2 years of previous nursing experience, preferably in a childcare or school environment
- Valid Florida state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
