Job Description
Duke Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team at Duke Primary Care-Waverly Place. The LPN will provide direct nursing care to assigned patients and assist with various diagnostic procedures. The position requires a Practical Nurse program graduation and current State of North Carolina LPN licensure or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited Practical Nurse program
  • Current State of North Carolina LPN licensure or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
  • No experience required
  • BLS and/or other specialized life support requirements designated by work area or organization
  • Working knowledge of sterile techniques and special procedures
  • Working knowledge of sanitation, personal hygiene and basic health and safety precautions
  • Working knowledge of infection control procedures and safety precautions
