Role OverviewThe LPN will work in the Opiate Treatment Program, providing patient care and administering medications, including methadone. The position involves working early morning hours, Monday through Saturday, and requires the ability to work with minimal supervision. The LPN will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of the facility and the well-being of patients.
What You Will Do
The LPN will perform various duties, including opening the clinic, reviewing patient files, administering medications, and monitoring patient urine/drug screens. They will also be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of patient information and adhering to CARF standards.

Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing
- Certification allowing the administration of medication
- Knowledge and understanding of addiction, detoxification, and the recovery process
- Valid driver's license and insurance
- Ability to function positively and effectively with patients, the Medical Director, and other staff members
- Knowledge and adherence to CARF standards
- CPR and First Aid trained and Crisis Prevention (CPI) trained
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to write clear, concise, accurate notes, and compliance with laws and standards of confidentiality
