What You Will Do
Provides nursing and supportive care in accordance with the Interdisciplinary Plan of Care, under the direction of the RN. Communicates with the attending physicians, other hospice team members, and other agencies as needed to coordinate optimal care and use of community resources for the patient/family.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Previous Hospice experience is preferred, but not required. You'll also need to have dependable transportation, a driver's license, and car insurance.
Requirements
- Current Louisiana Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required
- Minimum of 2-3 years as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Current CPR certification required
- Dependable transportation, driver's license, and car insurance
- Previous Hospice experience preferred
