Role OverviewThe School Athletic Director plays a critical role in overseeing the development and implementation of a comprehensive high school athletics program. Reporting to the Principal and under the direction of the Executive Director, Sports Administration, the School Athletic Director will be held accountable for various responsibilities, including overseeing district safety and security protocols, administering extracurricular athletic programs, and maintaining files and records required by policy, regulation, law, and best practice.

The School Athletic Director will be responsible for providing on-site coverage of athletic practices, games, and events, overseeing the development and implementation of a comprehensive high school athletics program, and maintaining files and records required by policy, regulation, law, and best practice.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) and an Administrative Endorsement / PK–12 Principal Endorsement required
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in interscholastic sports (e.g., coaching, athletic program administration)
- Supervisory experience preferred
