Role OverviewThe Licensed Social Services Director will assist in pre-admission and admission process with customers, aid clients in adjusting to nursing home placement, and document progress and updates plans of care at the interdisciplinary care conference.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include interviewing residents and families, arranging transportation, making appointments, and acting as a liaison between departments, residents' families, and outside agencies. The Director will also assist in handling and accepting placement through one-on-one counseling and group work.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Social Work, a license with the state, and one year of supervised social work experience in a healthcare setting. The Director will be able to work with a variety of people in situations varying from community and nursing home planning.
