Role Overview

The Ohio Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) is hiring a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) for the Community Support Network Team. The successful candidate will work in a collaborative, service-oriented environment, providing assistance to clients in IDDT/ACT model of care, including individual and group therapy, counseling, and case management. The role requires daily travel into and around the Franklin County community to visit clients in their residence, assist them with appointments, and facilitate therapy sessions.

What You Will Do

The Licensed Social Worker will perform psychosocial interventions with clients in individual, family, or group forums, monitor clients' response to treatment, and assist clients in securing benefits and other community resources. The role also involves conducting and facilitating individualized service planning with assigned clients, maintaining appropriate licensure for provision of services offered, and preparing timely documentation as required.

Requirements

  • Current license as a social worker (LSW or LISW) as issued by State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker & Marriage & Family Therapist Board
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Proficiency in SAMI/IDDT and ACT principles, including Motivational Interviewing and stages of change
