Job Description
Role Overview

Provide referral information, conduct assessments, and develop intervention strategies for students with special needs. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to identify eligible students and determine appropriate services. Participate in ARD Committee meetings and comply with state and federal regulations.

What You Will Do

Conduct psycho-educational evaluations, write evaluation reports, provide counseling services, and participate in ARD Committee meetings. Utilize various assessment instruments and techniques to identify students eligible for Special Education Services.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Must have a Master's Degree, Specialist Degree, or Doctorate degree in School Psychology or a related field. Must be licensed or eligible for licensure. Knowledge of psychoeducational evaluation instruments and proficiency in district-provided software and technology is required.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree, Specialist Degree, or Doctorate degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Licensed Specialist in School Psychology or eligible for licensure
  • Knowledge of the administration and interpretation of psychoeducational evaluation instruments
  • Proficiency in district-provided software and technology
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral formats
  • Ability to travel throughout the district
