Job Description
Apex Companies is seeking an experienced Licensed Surveyor to join their team in Roseville, California. As a California Registered Professional Land Surveyor, you will take leadership on delivering survey projects and optimize internal processes and standards. The role requires strong technical, management, and interpersonal skills to deliver precise, high-quality results.

Requirements

  • California Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license
  • 8+ years of experience in Surveying, Civil Engineering or related field(s)
  • Expertise in survey equipment use, configuration, troubleshooting, procurement, repair
  • Expertise in Survey software, including but not limited to GIS/GPS, aerial and non-aerial cartography, data collectors
  • Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D software, PDF software, and Microsoft Office software
  • Ability to grasp and become proficient in new software and technologies
  • Ability to pay attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic
  • Good interpersonal abilities for working in a team environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and take direction
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to self-motivate and work productively without supervision
  • Proactive approach/self-starter/takes initiative
  • Ability to kneel, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Valid California driver’s license and insurable driving record
