Role Overview

A licensed Texas PE is sought for a hybrid role leading water and wastewater infrastructure projects from planning and design through regulatory approval, bidding, construction support, and project closeout. The position combines hands-on engineering, project management, regulatory coordination, client engagement, and construction support across municipal and utility infrastructure projects.

What You Will Do

Review, design, and sign/seal civil engineering plans for water and wastewater infrastructure projects in Texas. Lead engineering design for water distribution systems, wells, storage tanks and towers, treatment facilities, and related municipal utility infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Current and active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas
  • Ability and authorization to review, approve, and seal civil engineering plans in Texas
  • Approximately 6–8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience
  • Relevant experience in water/wastewater, municipal infrastructure, utilities, public works, or closely related infrastructure projects
  • Hands-on experience with TCEQ permitting, submittals, regulatory requirements, and plan-review responses
  • Experience involving water distribution systems, wells, storage facilities, treatment plants, or related utility infrastructure
  • Demonstrated project-management experience covering engineering design, permitting, bidding, client coordination, construction support, and project delivery
  • Working proficiency with AutoCAD or comparable civil engineering design and drafting software
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout Texas as project needs require
  • Strong written communication, organization, project-management, and client-facing skills
