Role OverviewWe are a well-established veterinary medicine provider in southern New York, seeking a licensed veterinary technician to work with our growing team of DVMs. Our clinic is equipped with the latest innovations and medical capabilities, providing wellness, dentistry, surgical, and emergency care.
What You Will Do
Animal restraint, triage of incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases, administration of medications, and effective communication of treatment plans with clients.

Requirements
- Actively Licensed Veterinary Technician, or license eligible in the state of NY
- High work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to arrive on-time and ready to work
- Some Saturday availability
- Exceptional customer service skills and ability to communicate precisely
- Interpret medical records and record client history accurately
- Knowledge in preventative care, surgical procedures, and hospital flow
- Ability to restrain pets in a low-stress and safe manner
- Proficient in sample collection and laboratory processing
- Proficient in anesthesia and surgical monitoring
