Requirements
- Be a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) in Virginia or eligible to obtain Virginia licensure
- Have at least 1 year of veterinary technician experience
- Have strong veterinary nursing and patient-care skills
- Be comfortable working directly with veterinarians during medical and surgical procedures
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients and coworkers
- Be comfortable handling dogs and cats of different sizes, temperaments, and medical needs
- Be organized and able to maintain accurate medical records
