Job Description
BWX Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: BWXT) is seeking a Licensing Manager to join its Advanced Technologies group. The successful candidate will serve as a senior-level subject matter expert in advanced reactor licensing and lead others in the execution of licensing activities and regulatory engagements related to BWXT AT's commercial reactor technology programs. The role involves developing and implementing project licensing plans, collaborating with engineering teams, and leading regulatory discussions. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in engineering, at least 10 years of experience in nuclear licensing and regulatory matters, and exceptional interpersonal skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • At least 10 years of experience in nuclear licensing and regulatory matters within a U.S. framework (NRC or DOE)
  • Experience in the design, evaluation, and technological development of nuclear systems
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, accurately, and timely in both written and verbal formats
  • Proven capacity to develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
