Job Description
UT Southwestern is seeking a Lieutenant for the University Police department. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising Sergeants and other staff, exercising independent judgment, and maintaining the highest ethical standards.

Requirements

  • At least 90 college hours
  • 5 years of full-time, continuous law enforcement service
  • 2 years as a sergeant or higher rank
  • Active TCOLE Peace Officer License
  • Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) Intermediate Certificate
  • Valid Texas driver's license
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution (preferred)
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience as a lieutenant or higher (preferred)
  • 7 years of experience managing complex multijurisdictional operations at a supervisory level (preferred)
