Job Description
The Florida Department of Veterans' Affairs is seeking a motivated, dynamic individual to administer the resident heroes' activities program at the Emory L. Bennett State Veterans Nursing Home in Daytona Beach, FL.

Requirements

  • Certified Activity Director or licensed or registered in Florida as a therapeutic recreation specialist or as an activity professional by a recognized accrediting body
  • Two years of experience in a social or recreational program within the last five years, one of which was full-time in a therapeutic activities program
  • Valid Florida driver's license
  • Successful completion of the employment screening process, including a national background investigation and drug test
