Job Description
The Lifeguard is a support position to the Recreation Department. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe, clean pool and beach environment, customer service, and supervising pool guests for safety.

Requirements

  • CPR/Life Guard Certificate
  • Superior swimming skills to provide rescue in pools
  • Friendly attitude and willingness to exceed guest expectations
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying hot/cold weather climates
  • Available to work flexible schedules including afternoon, weekends, and holidays
  • Good physical stamina to stand and walk long distances throughout shift
  • Good physical strength to lift, push, and pull moderate weight
