Role OverviewLife Support Instructor 4 teaches Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) classes to healthcare professionals while maintaining a high-quality learning environment.
What You Will Do
Teach ACLS and/or PALS classes, perform administrative functions, maintain equipment, and adhere to AHA and Inova Health System/Inova Well Training Center policies.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Ideal candidate will be available to teach 1-2 days per month, maintain excellent records, and organize classes.
Requirements
- Certification: Must hold a current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Instructor Card and/or a current American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Instructor Card upon start.
- Experience: Must have experience in working in a clinical setting (e.g. EMS, EMT, RN, LPN, RT)
