Role OverviewThe Life Support Instructor 5 teaches Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) classes while providing a high-quality learning environment for healthcare professionals.
What You Will Do
Teaches ACLS and PALS classes, performs administrative functions, maintains equipment, and adheres to AHA and Inova Health System/Inova Well Training Center policies.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have excellent AHA record keeping skills, experience in a clinical setting, and a current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Instructor card and a current American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Instructor card.
Requirements
- Certification: American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Instructor card and a current American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Instructor card
- Experience: 3 years teaching ACLS and PALS, experience in a clinical setting (e.g. EMS, EMT, RN, LPN, RT)
