Job Description
The Lifeguard creates and maintains a safe, positive, and engaging Aquatics atmosphere that promotes member safety in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Patrol and monitor the active natatorium
  • Activate EAPs, rescue swimmers, and provide appropriate first aid and care to injured members
  • Explain and enforce safety rules and regulations
  • Performs checks on equipment, water quality, and facility cleanliness
  • Attends all staff meetings and Inservice training
