Role OverviewUnder the general supervision of the school Principal, the Lifeguard will ensure the safety of patrons in an assigned aquatic facility. This part-time/temporary Lifeguard position will be compensated for time worked at a pay rate of $18.00 per hour.
What You Will Do
Supervise swimming activities, warn swimmers of improper or dangerous activities, ensure policies and safety procedures are followed, enforce pool regulations, administer first aid, and rescue swimmers in distress.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The successful Lifeguard must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent, Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certificate, American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, and American Red Cross Standard First Aid certifications, as well as six months of related work experience as a lifeguard.
