Job Description
This part-time lifeguard position is responsible for performing duties and responsibilities consistent with those of a lifeguard, preparing work schedules and assigning lifeguards to duty stations, and giving instruction in pool operating procedures, rules, safety practices, maintenance, and related matters. The position is located in the Recreation, Health, and Wellness Division of the Parks and Recreation Department within the City of Oklahoma City.

Requirements

  • Must have completed Lifeguard Certification as issued by the Oklahoma City Parks and Recreation Department, Basic First Aid, and CPR for the Professional Rescuer with AED Module prior to hire
  • Ability to travel is required
