Job Description
The Light Rail Train Operator Trainee is required to complete a training class to become a full-time LRT Operator. The trainee will undergo classroom and on-the-job training and must pass all safety and training standards to obtain certification. The trainee will report to an assigned rail operating facility after completion of training and may work varied shifts, including holidays and weekends.

Requirements

  • Must pass all safety and training standards and obtain certification as an LRT Operator.
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Must have a valid Texas driver's license and be able to maintain it.
  • Must be able to pass all pre-selection testing, medical examinations, and physical assessments.
  • Must not have a disqualifying criteria, such as two or more DUI/DWI convictions, etc.
