Job Description
The Respiratory Care Assistant is a learning role that incorporates the mission statement and standards of behavior of the hospital or care facility. This role performs basic competencies within orientation and provides satisfactory respiratory care independently post verification of education and completed competency.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Enrolled in an accredited respiratory care program
  • Experience in basic respiratory therapy procedures (Preferred)
  • Student experience (Required)
  • Holder of current Ohio Limited Practice Permit
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
