Role OverviewPerforms tasks to ensure that linen/clothing distribution and cleaning best meet the care needs of patients/staff, and that all linen is handled, stored, and processed to control/prevent infection.
What You Will Do
Collects soiled linens and personal clothing from designated areas, distributes linen/clothing to areas for pickup by nursing assistants, monitors the quality of linen daily, and loads and operates washing machines following equipment instructions.

Must possess and exhibit customer service, teamwork, strong communication and organizational skills, and be physically able to move/control heavy carts and lift linen bundles and full linen bags.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience
- Demonstrates knowledge of PC's and software
- Familiarity with hospital terminology
