Role Overview

The Linux Systems Administrator will play a critical role in ensuring our Linux servers and systems are configured and running optimally. This individual will solve complex database problems and play a critical role in the overall success of the organization.

What You Will Do

Design and manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux servers and workstations, provide technical support for computer network issues, and collaborate with others to resolve information technology issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
  • Proficiency with Bash, Python, or a UNIX oriented scripting language
  • Minimum of 6 years of systems administration experience in a small to medium sized business’s IT team
  • Experience working in a Linux environment as a system administrator
  • Familiarity with basic networking (IP addresses, routing, firewalls)
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools
  • Must have a US Security Clearance or the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance
