Role OverviewThe Linux Systems Engineer will function as part of a team of engineers responsible for designing, building, maintaining, and securing Linux-based systems to ensure reliability, performance, and security across in our secure environments.
What You Will Do
Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems and servers, monitor system performance, reliability, and security, and troubleshoot system, application, hardware, and network-related issues on Linux platforms.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Linux operating systems, distributions, file systems, kernel concepts, and system architecture, and experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or similar platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- At least 7 years of related experience
- Current TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
