Litho Press Feeder - Night Shift

The Litho Press Feeder assists the Litho Press Operator in their responsibilities, utilizing a large format litho sheet fed automatic machine with high automation and technology. This position involves complex tasks with multiple processes, including machine set-ups and operations, calibrating equipment, and measuring tolerances. The Litho Press Feeder works under general supervision and is responsible for the output and condition of the litho press.

What You Will Do

The Litho Press Feeder will perform tasks such as setting up and running the litho press, troubleshooting issues, following safe operating procedures, and selecting and installing printing plates or dies. They will also stack and feed litho material, observe machine operation, and perform quality inspections of finished products.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Experience and/or training in a manufacturing environment
• Three to four years of large format litho printing industry experience
• Demonstrated performance and self-motivation to assume greater responsibility and work output to achieve results
• Ability to read English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedures, manuals, and order specifications
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages
• Ability to read a ruler to 1/16th of an inch
• Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Mechanical and spatial aptitude
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and quality
• Enthusiasm, dedication, reliability, and punctuality required
• Ability to move from task/assignment to another on short notice
