Litigation Attorney

Requirements

• Possess strong knowledge of residential foreclosure process and general real estate law
• Review and analyze pre- and post-judgment title issues
• Conduct legal research
• Draft substantive pleadings, motions, legal opinions, and memoranda
• Appear at court hearings, mediations, depositions, and other required appearances
• Analyze cases, propound focused discovery, and assist clients with responses to discovery requests
• Communicate effectively with clients on issues that may affect foreclosure
• Develop and implement focused litigation plans
• Maintain case management status report and meet regularly with paralegals
• Manage a large volume of workload effectively and efficiently
• Meet minimum monthly billable hour requirements
• Regularly review and approve pre-bills for time input by attorneys or paralegals
