Role OverviewThe Litigation Legal Secretary will perform complex and specialized secretarial and administrative duties related to the specific work and function of the attorneys to whom assigned. The ideal candidate will have experience in defense litigation and government, including trials, and will also have demonstrated excellence in dependability, pro-activity, and the ability to work independently and within a team.
What You Will Do
The responsibilities of the Litigation Legal Secretary include preparing, editing, and filing documents, updating and maintaining databases, reading, distributing, and electronically filing incoming mail, greeting clients and visitors, maintaining good public relations and customer service with clients, and performing other related duties and special projects as assigned.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five plus years of legal litigation secretarial experience, with a preference for those with experience in Insurance Defense. The candidate will also have high organizational skills, knowledge of office procedures, rules, and regulations, and the ability to effectively and accurately communicate orally and in writing.
