Role Overview

The Litigation Paralegal provides legal and administrative support to attorneys in all phases of electric and environmental regulatory permitting, compliance, and litigation matters. This role supports case management through preparation of regulatory applications, drafting legal documents, managing discovery, and coordinating hearing and post-hearing activities.

What You Will Do

Assist with the preparation and compilation of complex regulatory applications, draft discovery requests, review documents for relevancy and privilege, and coordinate document collection and production.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Paralegal certification required; equivalent experience may be considered
  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant paralegal experience in a law firm, preferably within litigation
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology, litigation processes, and regulatory procedures
  • Experience with e-filing systems and regulatory agency requirements
  • Proficiency in legal research tools (Westlaw, Lexis)
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
