Role OverviewWe are hiring a Litigation Support Specialist to join our team and provide support to the U.S. Attorney's Office (USAO), Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Criminal Division. In this role, you will support Assistant United States Attorneys (AUSAs) with legal document preparation, pretrial and trial support, electronic court filings, legal research, case tracking, calendars, witness coordination, travel support, and records organization. This position is a strong fit for a legal-support professional who is organized, detail-focused, comfortable working with case information and legal deadlines, and able to provide reliable support in a busy federal legal office.
What You Will Do
The main day-to-day responsibilities and outcomes include reviewing and preparing legal documents, preparing Grand Jury indictment packages and other materials supporting criminal proceedings, assisting with pretrial and trial preparation, assembling exhibits, affidavits, and other legal documents for attorney review and use, and coordinating witness travel arrangements.
