Role Overview

The Live Hanger is responsible for hanging live birds in a humane manner, sorting out Dead on Arrival's, and maintaining a safe and sanitary work area. This is a safety-sensitive position that requires standing, walking, and reaching with hands and/or arms, and lifting/moving up to 25-40 pounds. The team member must understand Animal Welfare and regulatory requirements.

What You Will Do

Perform duties as applicable to a specific task or department, including set-up/tear-down workstation & line, receiving chickens, and rotating in position cycle as instructed.

Requirements

  • Previous experience
  • Ability to stand for a period of time, walk, and reach with hands and/or arms
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25-40 pounds
