Role OverviewThe Live Haul Driver will be responsible for driving safely to scheduled sow farms for loading weaned and/or culled pigs, coordinating safe loading and accurate counts, delivering to local grower farms, and safely unloading. The driver will also be responsible for tractor/trailer cleanup, including washing as needed. This position requires a valid CDL, a proven safe driving history, and the ability to work and communicate effectively.
What You Will Do
The main day-to-day responsibilities of this position include driving safely, loading and unloading pigs, delivering to local grower farms, and maintaining a clean and safe tractor/trailer. The driver will also be responsible for interacting positively with TriOak Sow Farm Employees and communicating effectively with co-workers/managers.

Requirements
- Valid CDL
- Proven safe driving history
- Ability to work and communicate effectively
- Physical ability to safely and efficiently load/unload weaned pigs and/or culled sows into trailer and appropriate compartments
- Ability to safely and efficiently wash and disinfect tractor/trailers on a daily basis
- Ability to interact positively with TriOak Sow Farm Employees on a daily basis
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers/managers in order to promote teamwork
- Self-motivation and ability to work without direct supervision
- Good attendance
- Valid CDL-A with a good, safe driving record
- Ability to follow safety rules and bio-security regulations set up by TriOak Foods
