Job Description
The Live Haul Truck Driver is responsible for operating a commercial vehicle to transport live poultry or related materials to and from designated locations in accordance with federal, state, and company regulations.

Requirements

  • Operates a commercial motor vehicle safely and in compliance with all DOT and company regulations.
  • Completes and maintains driver logs and other required documentation.
  • Maintains regular communication with the supervisor for instructions and updates.
  • Performs pre- and post-trip inspections, reporting any issues promptly.
  • Ensures cleanliness of truck compartments to prevent contamination.
  • Assists with load/unload procedures and operational support as needed.
  • Keeps truck interior and exterior clean and presentable.
  • Complies with all company safety rules and procedures.
  • Maintains a valid Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements and a current DOT physical.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
