Job Description
This position is responsible for working with livestock, including driving, sorting, weighing, tattooing, marking, and penning of livestock, while keeping accurate inventories and head counts.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience working with and handling livestock in loading and unloading operations
  • Experience with skid loaders and forklift operation
  • Basic experience with livestock handling in a procurement area of the meat industry
  • Prior knowledge and experience with humane animal handling procedures process and general policy in the area of procurement
