Role OverviewThe Load Former 2nd Shift is responsible for following company safety guidelines, performing quality checks, and loading units with accurate tags and appearance. The role requires basic computer skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work extended hours and weekends.
What You Will Do
The Load Former 2nd Shift will perform duties such as reading production sheets, identifying quality defects, and communicating with machine operators. They will also be responsible for quality checks using micrometers and tape measures.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, prior work experience in the corrugated industry, and 6 months' experience as a Bundler. They should be self-motivated, able to work in varying temperatures, and have a professional attitude and conduct.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior work experience in the corrugated industry
- 6 months' experience as a Bundler
- Ability to read production sheets
- Quickly identify a quality defect and communicate immediately to machine operators
- Quality checks using micrometer, tape measure, etc.
- Able to read a tape measure up to 1/16” variance
- Basic Computer Skills (Data Entry)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to add, subtract, & multiply
- Able to work extended work hours and weekends
- Self-motivated
- Able to work in varying temperatures
