Job Summary
This position is responsible for pulling, picking, and loading outbound shipments, as well as unloading and moving inbound materials throughout the facility.
Selected candidates may also have the opportunity to take on an additional Site Safety Champion role, supporting the facility’s environmental, health, and safety (EHS) program. This additional responsibility is optional and intended for individuals with an interest in safety leadership.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operates a propane sit-down forklift.
Sort shipments for destination and group merchandise to be included with or fulfilled in an order.
Loading of finished materials for transport and unloading of raw materials.
Moving products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
Inspect the forklift to determine the need for repairs and to guarantee safety.
Verify piece counts on each pallet and compares to label.
Material handling of all products.
Follow shipping work orders.
Other duties as assigned
Optional Additional Responsibilities – Site Safety Champion:
Employees selected to serve as Site Safety Champion will dedicate a portion of their time (approximately 25%) to supporting site safety initiatives, including:
Conducting new hire and periodic safety training
Partnering with the Regional Safety Specialist on initiatives and concerns
Supporting and participating in safety committee activities
Assisting with execution of site safety programs and inspections
Leading or supporting incident investigations
Serving as the day-to-day onsite EHS point of contact
Promoting and influencing a strong safety culture
Completing OSHA 30 and ongoing safety training
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
Highly motivated with good sound work ethics.
Must demonstrate safe working practices and possess great attention to detail.
Team player able to follow instructions from management and peers.
Ability to learn and operate new equipment.
Ability to use measuring devices (gauges, tapes, rulers).
Strong problem-solving skills and math skills with the capability to calculate square footage and batch size.
Education and Experience:
Required:
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Minimum of one (1) year previous forklift experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in Shipping and Receiving.
Working Conditions:
Fast paced manufacturing environment, loading dock, and driveways. Will be working in all weather conditions.

-- This role is performed onsite at our facility located at 1550 E 73rd Ave, Denver, CO 80229.
As a Loader I, you will be entitled to the following:
An Hourly Rate of $23.24
Optional Pay Premium:
Employees selected to serve as a Site Safety Champion will receive an additional $1.00 per hour premium for the duration of time they are performing in that role.
Total Potential Pay Range:
$23.24 – $24.24 per hour, depending on role assignment
