Loading Dock Attendant

The Loading Dock Attendant manages and maintains the loading dock and associated activities at Bal Harbour Shops. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of the loading dock, providing excellent customer service to anyone who comes into contact with the loading dock, and ensuring compliance with all applicable rules and regulations.

What You Will Do

Oversee daily operations of staging and delivery activities, direct traffic, provide customer service, handle customer complaints, maintain a safe and secure loading dock environment, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 year preferred experience responsibility in loading dock or warehouse management
• Ability to use electric pallet jack as well as stand-up forklift
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle difficult or stressful situations calmly and professionally
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills for maintaining records and generating reports
• Knowledge of parking regulations and traffic control procedures
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
