Job Description
The Loan Assistant II is responsible for assisting commercial lenders by verifying, compiling, and completing loan applications, processing documentation of loans and extensions, and computing payment and interest.

Requirements

  • Review completed LOM for accuracy
  • Order supporting documentation
  • Submit LOM to loan ops
  • Perform pre-funding review
  • Close loan if needed / Fund Loan
  • Prepare loan package for shipping and booking
  • Pull maturity and past due reports
  • Inform officer of required documentation for loan renewals
  • Prepare basic Loan Offering Memorandum
  • Assist in clearing collateral / credit exceptions
  • Process draw requests / loan payments / transfers
  • Handle loan research issues / questions
  • Forward documents to loan ops for scanning
  • Complete required BSA/AML training and other compliance training as assigned
