Job Description
Cornerstone Home Lending is seeking a Loan Processing Lead to direct a team of loan processors and ensure efficient and effective operations. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in the mortgage industry and a clear understanding of the residential mortgage loan process.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the mortgage industry, processing or related work
  • Clear understanding of the residential mortgage loan process from application through selling the loan package to an investor
  • Familiarity with FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, USDA underwriting guidelines
  • Ability to maintain constant communication between loan originator, borrowers, realtors, loan closer and underwriters
  • Familiarity with working in a paperless system
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
  • Excellent communications (oral and verbal) and organizational skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Strong data input skills/general knowledge of Loan Origination Software
