Job Description
Waste Connections is seeking a reliable and hardworking Local CDL Driver to join our team in Denver Colorado. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient collection and transportation of waste to designated disposal sites.

Requirements

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
  • Two years of commercial driving experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of local streets and routes
  • Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and loading heavy items 50 lb +, with the ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb into the truck multiple times a day
  • Comfortable working in various weather conditions
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Steady working history
  • Basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle inspections and minor maintenance tasks
